Yesterday (25 August), DS and I were at the Terminal 3 (T3) of Changi Airport to welcome Team Singapore (the 2008 Singapore Olympians) home!
It is hard to believe that we actually did it since we are never sports enthusiasts. In fact, the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games that has just ended two days ago was [...]

Last night (23 Aug) was a special night for DS and I.
For the first time, DS and I was up at the seating gallery of the Floating Stadium at Marina Bay. We were there for the Singapore Fireworks 2008 – an annual event held in celebrations of Singapore’s birthday! It was the [...]

Standing at the height of 165m from the ground, Singapore Flyer is the world’s largest observation wheel as of this day. It exceeds the Star of Nanchang (China) by 5m and London Eye (England) by 30m.

08.08.08 – A date that occurs once in a hundred years, and most of us will only experience it once in our life -times. As many (especially Chinese) believe that this was a very auspicious day, some chose to deliver their babies on this day. In Singapore, as many as 308 couples, had [...]
