偶尔，我喜欢以旅客的心情，参观我国的旅游景点。因为这样不但可以给平淡的生活增添乐趣， 也可对自己的国家有多一点的认识。不过， 这样的一份闲情也是在近年来卸下工作之后才有的。以前工作时， 日子总是在忙忙碌碌中度过。在新加坡， 只要有工作或／和有家庭的人，又有多少人能够轻松、写意的过日子呢？ 大家总是忙着、忙着的， 就连偶尔想要跟三、两位朋友聚聚或出游，也还真不容易！
自从新加坡摩天观景轮(Singapore Flyer)在今年二月开始运转， 我就一直想上去看看。上星期六 （2008年8月16日）我总算如愿以偿，与玲和琼一起乘上了目前世界上最高的观景轮！已经好久没有和这两位好朋友出游了。 上一回是2006年的5月5日，我们乘上了DHL Balloon (world’s largest tethered helium balloon) 看风景。还真不敢相信那已是27个月前的事了！
新加坡摩天观景轮!!

Standing at the height of 165m from the ground, Singapore Flyer is the world’s largest observation wheel as of this day. It exceeds the Star of Nanchang (China) by 5m and London Eye (England) by 30m.

史无前例的乒乓赛 － SINGAPORE’S BIGGEST TABLE TENNIS GAMES HISTORY

2008年8月15日（星期五）的傍晚，新加坡的女子乒乓队在北京奥运会上，苦战了三个多小时，终于成功的击败了南韩， 杀进了大决赛！
这激动人心，且富有历史性的一刻，你见证了吗？坐在电视机前的我， 竟然高兴得高喊起来！ 当时的兴奋和激动是字句也难于形容的！我甚至在第一时间就打电话给还在公司上班的老公报喜！！ 对于一直以来都不会关心体坛事件的我， 这还是我第一回那么的紧张和激动 （幸好我没有心脏病！）。 尤其是最后关头我还真替我们的乒乓球员们捏了一把冷汗！

我国女子乒乓队这一次真的是不负众望， 交出了漂亮的成绩单，为国人争光！

在这星期天的大决赛里， 不管是金牌或银牌， 我都很期待他们的表现会带给我们更大的惊喜。 也祝她们好运！
