Zhang Hui Mei’s (aka Amei’s) Star Tour Concert 2007
Wakin’s (aka Emil Chau’s) Concert 2006
Yesterday, I spent hours updating and house-keeping my song collections on iTunes. While doing so, I also re-watched the video clips of a few very enjoyable and memorable concerts that DS and I attended in recent years.
Here’s sharing with you video clips of two Taiwanese Singers – Zhang Hui Mei (aka Amei) and Wakin (aka Emil Chau) – that we like very much. These video clips of their last concerts in Singapore were taken using my digital camera, hence the image quality can’t compare with that taken on a video camera. Video Camera is a strict “NO, NO” in concerts here and this is understandable.
Jacky Cheung from Hong Kong is another pop singer that DS and I appreciate his singing a lot. During his concert last July, although I managed to snap many good shots, I did not have any chance to take video clips because the concert workers were overly zealous in their job in stopping audience from taking videos! Well, we think it was unreasonable of the organiser to restrict the audience from taking video clips even though just on digital cameras!
I recall when DS and I attended a stage play in Shanghai 3 years old, an audience behind us openly set up a tripod and recorded the entire play using a video camera. I do not know if he had any ill intention in doing so, but he was not stopped by anyone at all! Perhaps this is what liberal and freedom means? Sometimes, I wonder if there are too many restrictions in my country?
