Singapore seems exceptionally beautiful this April with plenty of spectacular flower blooms all over the island.  It is said that this is a result from the long dry spell, followed by rain (finally, on 22 March).  The long dry spell since mid-January was said to be the driest since 1869, and also the longest in the history of Singapore.  So, it looks like the long dry spell has its positive effect too! 🙂

Have you taken time to appreciate these lovely blooms?  Many of them are trumpet trees, and some called this the Singapore’s version of “cherry blossom”

Here’s a video which I have created from the photos taken last Sunday when DS and I went for a morning walk in my neighbourhood.

Lots of fruits too, like rose apples and mangoes!

I am hoping for good weather again this weekend so that I can be out to catch more beautiful blooms before they are gone.  Hope you will have the time to do so too. 🙂

Happy weekend, everyone!
